The Live and Coagulated Blood Microscopy online course, available through the Douglas Blood Microscopy Centre, is a comprehensive program divided into three sections covering The Blood Microscope (2 sessions), Live Blood Microscopy including Enderlein’s Cyclode Theory and Sanum (11 sessions), and Coagulated Blood Microscopy exploring how reactive oxygen species affect blood coagulation (8 sessions).

The course spans 20 weeks at a minimum of 6 hours per week, totalling 120 hours of learning. Content is largely supported by published scientific articles and clinical studies, and includes instructional videos on blood sampling, microscope use, and patient interaction, along with quizzes at the end of each session to reinforce knowledge.
